NANS ADVISES STUDENTS AGAINST VIOLENT ACT DURING ELECTION
By Yakubu Temitope (A Campus Life Correspondent)
The National Association of Nigerian Students(NANS), Zone B on Friday, 27th, March 2015 advised Students within the South South and South East Zone of Nigeria not to allow themselves to be used by politicians as political thugs during the upcoming election.
In a statement signed by its Public Relations Officer, Pedro Obi. Part of the statement read, "No Politician is worth dying for, protect your futures, say no to election violence, the youths are the future of tomorrow and partners of today ".
Pedro also stated so many reasons why Students don't need to die for any politician and the need to stay away from electoral violence before, during and after elections.
"Vote, that's your obligation, you do not owe anyone a duty to die. Students should value their life, it's only when they(students) are alive that they can be better than them", He said.
Pedro also said students should say no to violence act and no to blood letting during the election, advising them to let God enthrone a King.
