Breaking: Bad New Year as Fayose Sacks 180 House of Assembly Staff

Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, this morning instructed his puppet illiterate PDP factional Speaker, Dele Olugbemi, to sack all 180 Civil Servants employed by the House of Assembly Service Commission during the Fayemi administration.

Mr. Olugbemi announced their sack with words of the mouth without issuing those affected any letter to that effect.

The affected staff were duly employed by the House of Assembly Service Commission with letters of appointment stating their conditions of service.

According to source, the only offence of these civil servants is that they were employed during the administration of Governor Fayemi who Governor Fayose sees as his arch enemy!

Fayose had in a similar manner reversed the appointments of 8 Permanent Secretaries appointed by Fayemi while he sacked another 7 who he perceived as loyal to the ex-Governor. He had similarly sacked 800 peace corps members and over 300 staff of the Ekiti State Traffic Management Agency. He has stopped the N10, 000 monthly allowance to about 5,000 unemployed youths working as volunteers while also stopping the N5,000 monthly allowance to 20,000 Ekiti elders in the social security scheme.
