The husband who sells fruits from his truck, accidentally ran over and killed his 4-year-old son while he was trying to escape from Urban Administrative and Law Enforcement Bureau, also known as the Chengguan.
The incident occurred about 6:30 p.m., when the fruit vendor spotted law enforcement officials talking to another vendor who also sold fruits out of his truck, according to witnesses.
The father immediately jumped into his truck in an attempt to get away before he would be bothered by the officials.
He, however, did not realize that his son was playing near his van and tragically drove over the kid, killing him instantly.
The child was declared dead at the scene while police have launched an investigation into the incident.
