DESOPADEC: Okolugbo celebrates new year with Ndokwa Nation as he commissions 50th projects (+PHOTOS)


The honourable Commissioner Representing Ndokwa Nation at the board of DESOPADEC; Sir Kenny Okolugbo today celebrated the new year with the constituents of his mandate area in Ndokwa Nation.

The commissioner representing Ndokwa nation in Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC), today in Obiaruku gathered members of his mandate area to celebrate the new year with him in thanksgiving  to God.

Okolugbo who was grateful to God for his grace, and his boss, Governor Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan for his support, also commissioned various projects today across Ndokwa land.
Commissioning the projects, Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan, represented by the honorable commissioner for power and energy, Comr. Gloria Oklugbo, thanked the DESOPADEC commissioner for his effort in  attracting various projects from DESOPADEC to his  people, which according to her, will better the lives of Ndokwa people.

Projects commissioned today include: a classroom block in Obi' Oluku ( Ukwuani LGA ward4), a block of six class rooms in Ebedei Grammar School, an Administration block in Obiaruku Grammar School, Obiaruku ; making it fifty (50) projects already completed and commissioned with many more ongoing projects by Sir. Kenny OKolugbo within two years of his reign as DESOPADEC Commissioner representing Ndokwa Nation at the board. Obi Oluku gave the commissioner new year gift after commissioning the block of classroomin the community; a live goat, tubers of yam and bags of garri. The community was thrown into celebration mood.
Present in the occasion were traditional leaders, political leaders and community leaders. The Ndokwa Student community was not left out in the celebration as FUNS National was well represented.
